From the Desk of Pia Copeland, Founder & President
The DS&P Foundation, Inc.
From a young age, I understood the power of compassion, community, and faith. Throughout my life and professional journey in healthcare, leadership, service, and women’s empowerment, I have witnessed firsthand how many individuals and families carry silent struggles—and how one act of support, one safe space, one caring voice, or one opportunity can change the trajectory of a life.
The DS&P Foundation, Inc. was born from that belief.
I founded this organization with a simple but profound purpose: to strengthen families, uplift communities, and help ensure that women and girls have access to the support, resources, opportunities, and hope they need to rise in every season of life. Our work is rooted in faith, guided by compassion, and built on the conviction that every person deserves dignity, encouragement, support, and the opportunity to thrive.
As a recognized nonprofit organization, The DS&P Foundation, Inc. is committed to addressing meaningful needs and creating a lasting impact. Every initiative we develop and every partnership we cultivate reflect our core values of service, integrity, compassion, and legacy. Through educational opportunities, scholarships, wellness support, family and community initiatives, leadership development, and empowerment-centered programs, we seek to create pathways that help women, girls, and families move forward with greater hope, strength, and opportunity.
My heart for this Foundation is bigger than any single moment. It is the culmination of a lifetime dedicated to serving others with purpose. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains steadfast: to be a source of hope, encouragement, opportunity, and meaningful support for women, girls, families, and communities.

Pia Copeland is the Founder & President of The DS&P Foundation, Inc., where she provides the visionary leadership, strategic direction, and mission-centered focus that guide the organization. With more than 30 years of professional experience spanning healthcare and dental administration, organizational leadership, hospitality, event planning, sales, marketing, community service, and women’s empowerment, Pia brings a distinctive combination of executive insight, lived experience, compassion, and purpose to her leadership.
Grounded in faith and guided by a commitment to service, Pia established The DS&P Foundation, Inc. to empower women and girls, strengthen families, advance wellness and education, and create meaningful community impact. She leads the Foundation’s strategic vision and organizational development, supports governance and board leadership, guides program and initiative planning, and works to ensure that the organization grows with integrity, accountability, transparency, and purpose.
Pia’s leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins when people are seen, supported, encouraged, and given opportunities to thrive. Her work reflects a commitment to developing sustainable initiatives, cultivating strategic partnerships, expanding educational opportunities, and creating pathways for greater hope, resilience, leadership, and long-term impact.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Pia is the Founder & CEO of Diamond, Sapphire & Pearl Ladies LLC, publicly known as DS&P Ladies™ | The House of Gemz™—a faith-rooted women’s community dedicated to sisterhood, wellness, resilience, personal growth, meaningful experiences, and purpose-centered leadership. Through DS&P Ladies™, Pia has created an environment that encourages women to honor their stories, strengthen meaningful connections, embrace personal growth, and walk boldly in purpose through every season of life.
Known for her authenticity, resilience, strategic vision, compassion, and commitment to elevating others, Pia leads with both heart and intentionality. Through her leadership of two distinct organizations, she remains committed to building meaningful opportunities, strengthening communities, and creating a lasting legacy of faith, service, hope, and impact.

The Diamond Legacy Scholarship
For women ages 55 and older pursuing continuing education, professional certifications, entrepreneurship, personal advancement, or legacy-building opportunities.
The Sapphire Leadership Scholarship
For women ages 36–54 pursuing leadership development, professional growth, career advancement, or purpose-driven opportunities.
The Pearl Rising Scholarship
For women ages 18–35 pursuing higher education, vocational training, entrepreneurship, professional development, or purpose-driven opportunities.
The Radiant Futures Scholarship
For girls and young women ages 13–21 who demonstrate promise, strong character, leadership potential, and a commitment to community involvement.
